Our permaculture design courses can be a launching pad to an ethical livelihood in environmental or land-based jobs. You can design your current or future property, and even move on to be a professional designer or teacher. Earn college credit through Humboldt State University (inquire for details). What is Social Forestry?

Social Forestry is a way of caring for the land that recognizes the sovereign rights of the more-than-human world.

These transformational courses in Permaculture, Intentional Community, and Ecovillage Design offer students the opportunity to integrate with natural rhythms of the land and experience the beauty, complexities, and intimacy of communal life, while cultivating transformative life skills within our 35 year-old Intentional Community in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

The Eco-Resilience Trainings offer us the opportunity to draw our inner strength and to support one another as teachers and guides so that together we can create a more beautiful and regenerative world for future generations.

Lost Valley’s Internship is a 3 month immersive learning experience where participants have the opportunity to learn and work alongside some of the Pacific Northwest’s finest system thinkers. This education based opportunity offers front row seats in observing the process, procedure, and governance systems that have allowed our community to flourish for over 30 years.
